3PEAK Launches Automotive-Grade SBC TPT1169xQ

Recently, 3PEAK introduced the TPT1169xQ series of Automotive-Grade System Basis Chips (SBCs). This product integrates a Watchdog, dual LDOs, and a CAN SIC (Signal Improvement Capability) transceiver. It features ultra-low power consumption, enhanced EMC performance, and multiple diagnostic protection functions. It fully complies with the ISO 11898-2:2024 standard, supports high-speed communication up to 8Mbps, and has achieved mass production via a 100% domestic supply chain. It has currently received certification from multiple OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

  1. Core Technical Highlights
  1. CAN SIC Ringing Suppression & High-Speed Communication
    • Compliant with ISO 11898-2:2024 and SAE J2284-1~5 standards, supports CAN FD SIC mode with data transmission rates up to 8Mbps.
    • Utilizes self-developed patented ringing suppression technology, significantly improving signal reflection issues in complex topologies (e.g., star networks) and reducing bit error rate.
    • Passed interoperability tests by the German C&S Laboratory, ensuring seamless communication with mainstream CAN devices in the industry.
  2. Highly Integrated Power Management & Diagnostics
    • Dual LDOs:
      • LDO V1: Outputs 5V/3.3V, max current 250mA, accuracy ±2%, supports external PNP current expansion, supplies power to MCU.
      • LDO V2/VEXT: Outputs 5V, max current 150mA, features battery/ground short-circuit protection.
    • Flexible SPI Interface: Supports 16/24/32-bit configuration for mode control and diagnostics.
    • Watchdog: Supports Window mode (8ms~4096ms), Timeout mode, and Autonomous mode.
    • Protection Mechanisms: LDO overvoltage/undervoltage protection, short-circuit protection, overtemperature shutdown; dedicated LIMP pin indicates system faults.
  3. Automotive-Grade Reliability & Functional Safety
    • Compliant with AEC-Q100 Grade 1 standard; bus pin ESD protection reaches ±8kV (IEC61000-4-2 contact discharge).
    • Supports Partial Networking wake-up and wake-up source identification, optimizing power management.
    • Provides functional safety documentation (Safety Manual, FMEDA, FIT rate), assisting systems in achieving ISO 26262 ASIL-B certification.
  4. EMC & Electrical Characteristics
    • EMC Performance: At 2Mbps communication, passes system-level BCI test of 106dBμA (200mA) without common-mode choke.
    • Bus Protection: Tolerates fault voltages of ±45V; DFN3.5X5.5-20L package supports AOI (Automated Optical Inspection).
  1. Application Scenarios

Suitable for body electronics, automotive lighting, HVAC systems, Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), and other fields, providing a highly integrated solution for multi-node in-vehicle networks.
